Many personal bests and seasons bests were posted on Friday night at Corning-Painted Post High School at the Fast Times Invitational, including a new school record in the 3000m set by Catie Eisenhut (10:27.30). Go Bobcats!
Lansing girls win the large school division and Lansing boys take third.
Catalina Zaloj broke Kendra Moody's high jump record from nearly 20 years ago with her high jump of 5'5"!
Catie Eisenhut sets a new record in the 3000m for fastest time ever run by a junior girl and the second fastest time ever run by a Lansing girl: 10:41.14.
The rain varied from mist to drizzle to downpour, and once again, athletes were called upon to be tough in the face of less-than-ideal weather conditions. Many season and personal bests continued to be set, and the Lansing girls would end in 4th overall against a competitive field of 19 schools (1st among small schools) and the Lansing boys would end in 10th place.
