On behalf of the coaches and athletes: Thank you.
We are excited and inspired by the enthusiasm and participation we saw on a cold Friday evening, and we are humbled and deeply grateful for the generous support shown by our friends, family, and community through their donations. Laps Under the Lights 2018 raised over $3,300. Our program is growing, and these funds will help our athletes to achieve their goals through funding gear, equipment, programming and more. We are proud to be running, jumping, and throwing for Lansing -- and your support means so much. Go Bobcats!

What a night! Despite a change in location, this team of unstoppable athletes gathered and, along with our district’s youngest runners, accumulated over 295 miles!!!! Take a look at some of the photos of the fun below, and thank you to everyone who has supported our program. Special thanks to our volunteers who helped out! There’s still time to donate; all gifts help us to provide the best interscholastic athletics experience we possibly can for our student-athletes!
We prepared for tonight, tried to clear the track and all. Mother Nature decided on an early morning lake effect snow dump and persistent winds all day into evening.
Not going to let that get us down. We're moving indoors. 200m, music, gatorade, and hot chocolate because we're hoping that there won't be many more opportunities to enjoy it until NEXT winter. Help us keep being unstoppable with your donations: Laps Under the Lights is ON. Friday, March 16, 7-8pm. Music, hot chocolate, and making our way around the track, raising funds for our team. A little snow doesn't stop us.
For anyone who wants to join us: bundle up and come on over! Or give here and know that your contribution makes a big difference for our team. We were excited before the season was underway — and we are even more eager to see what the spring holds as we are getting to know this group of student-athletes! Some solid conditioning work and some event technique mixed with some fun — and week one is done! Bravo to our teammates who were in The Sound of Music! It was a fantastic show, and we are looking forward to seeing you at practice in Week Two. The distance crew made their way down to Myers where they detoured around the train and found the usually-submerged land bridge.
Check out NY Milesplit for live updates from Staten Island where the best indoor track and field athletes in the Empire State are competing, including five of our own Bobcats!
